NOEMI SCHLOSSER – ARTISTIC DIRECTOR & FOUNDER OF THE YOUTH OF 1948 PROJECT
Noémi is a Belgian theater writer, director, producer and former actor. She graduated under world renowned theater director Ivo van Hove at the Conservatory of Antwerp in 2001. She performed freelance on major stages in lead parts in theaters and musicals (some with international acclaim and winning the Edinburgh Festival in 2007).
In 2004 she started her own theater company Salomee Speelt. Schlosser has produced and performed shows on 4 continents and in 5 languages. Her shows are inspired by modern (often Jewish related) history and historical figures as well as based on research. Since the start of her career she received funding from the European Union and the Flemish Government a.o.
Since 2013 she is also a founding member of a European traveling opera company the Ministry of Operatic Affairs .With whom she created 5 operas the past few years.
Schlosser is on the board of the American Jewish Theater Association, a representative of the League of Professional Women in the Theater and a Schusterman Foundation grantee as part of the ROI Community.
AVIVA KLEIN – PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER
Aviva is a portrait photographer born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Aviva has photographed mainstream fashion and musical icons such as Prince, Beyonce and Nicki Minaj. She has also worked with Pepsi, Puma, Sony Music and various notable publications.
Most recently, Aviva received a grant from the Schusterman Foundation to “make it happen” in the Jewish Community. Aviva wanted to bring awareness to the plight of an Agunah (a Jewish woman who is “chained” to her marriage) so she created a portrait series documenting ten Agunot. Aviva exhibited the portrait series at Jewish Community Centers in Connecticut, Minneapolis and lastly at Yale University’s Slifka Center. The portrait series also ran in Newsweek Magazine this year.

The Israel Forever Foundation is an Israel Engagement organization that develops, supports and promotes experiential learning opportunities to celebrate and strengthen the personal connection to Israel. We aspire to cultivate and advance personal connections with the multi-faceted reality of Israel that will foster understanding, respect, involvement and pride in Israel. We encourage dynamic dialogue through virtual and local programming that focus on the value of Israel and her significance to both collective and individual Jewish identity. We seek to emphasize the value of Israel and her continued existence as a Jewish democratic state and her contributions throughout the world. Through these efforts, we seek to place Israel at your fingertips and engage you in enlightening, experiential, and apolitical activism that expands your Israel pride beyond Yom Ha’Atzmaut and into the everyday.
